Pride in Self - Individuals are assisted in developing pride both in themselves and in the activities they accomplish on a daily basis.
Dignity - individuals are empowered to do for themselves when able and assisted in such a manner that their dignity remains intact.
Independence - probably the most important attribute promoted in that by developing a sense of independence individuals are more apt to maintain their dignity and pride in self.
Progressive Directions was chartered by the State of Tennessee as a private not-for-profit organization in 1976. Our mission is to serve the people of Montgomery and Stewart Counties, acting in the public interest by providing mental retardation services to this catchment area.
Buddy Ball provides individuals with a mental or physical disability the opportunity to sports, regardless of their limitations. Buddy Ball helps individuals learn teamwork and promotes self-esteem, one of the tools needed to help overcome the stigma often associated with a disability.

Established in 1999, Kids Depot is a state licensed facility providing before and after school care for elementary school age children ages 12 months to 5 years. We have a mini school bus for transportation, and currently serve Sango Elementary & East Montgomery Elementary.
